Cooperative Bank Carriacou Branch Robbers To Reappear In Court November 3

In case you missed it, the five Trinidad and Tobago National charged for the armed robbery at the Cooperative Bank branch in Carriacou are to reappear in court on the 3rd of next month.

They made their first court appearance last Friday.

Each of the accused has been charged with three counts of robbery with violence; entering the state without the consent of an immigration officer and failing to present themselves to a government-approved quarantine facility.

The RGPF says investigation is ongoing and other charges are likely to be brought against the men.

The offense carries with it a term of imprisonment not exceeding 30 years and in the discretion of the court, flogging.
