Coordinator of sports, Curlan Peters, tells the Nation’s Carifta athletes thanks for making Grenada proud.
The Grenada contingent arrived home yesterday from the Games in the Bahamas, toting 10 medals in total, 2 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze.
In the welcome-home ceremony, Peters says their hard work has not gone unnoticed.
Coach of the Grenada CARIFTA Athletic team, Wayne McSween, says it was a rather proud moment with the athletes giving off their best.
He indicated that they’re a proper group of ambassadors.
