A report from the Ministry of Health shows there’s 1 new related death on account of COVID-19, the first after several months with a clean sheet.
This brings the cumulative deaths to 201, since the virus was first detected in Grenada in March 2020.
The latest report also shows that 30 more individuals have turned up COVID positive, out of some 223 tests that were conducted lately.
It now brings the active cases to 1,764 and the cumulative confirmed cases to 7,699, off which there have been 5, 735 recoveries.
Over the reporting period there were 2 new recoveries, with 3 persons hospitalized.
The fully vaccinated population now stands at 36,111.
The partially vaccinated population is listed as 5,719.
To date, 3,638 booster doses have been administered, over the reporting period.
