Work being conducted in the Grand Anse area in the vicinity of the old SGU quarters has raised eyebrows that it’s a new prison facility that’s being erected.

This prompted a question on the matter this morning at the Government’s Post-Cabinet Briefing, posed to Attorney General, Dia Forrester, who indeed confirmed it is a prison quarter.

Pertaining to the magistracy in these COVID times, there’s the notion things will get digital, as the Attorney General explains.

Forrester says it’s all a matter of dispensing justice ensuring maximum safety, in relation to risks of COVID-19.
