Anyone needing assistance or information in dealing with cyber scam is again reminded they can reach out to the Grenada National Cyber Security Incident Response Team (C-SIRT).
It has sent out notice in this regard, noting that cyber scams are becoming pretty frequent in recent times.
It specifically speaks this time about catfishing and sextortion.
C-SIRT reminds the public that both catfishing and sextortion contravene Grenada’s Electronic Crimes Act, 2013.
C-SIRT warns the public to be cautious with whom they interact with online and even more-so when it comes to the sharing of personal and sensitive information.
