The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) today hosted its Inaugural Ministerial Summit on Educational Assessment.
The event held under the theme: “Facilitating Transformation Through Assessment” engaged education policymakers, from across the region, in high-level dialogue.
Registrar and CEO of CXC Dr. Wayne Wesley, addressing the Summit on behalf of CXC says the organization is committed to the cause of educational transformation and will take decisive and deliberate actions in inspiring and delivering impactful change.
Wesley says CXC is fully cognizant that teaching, learning and assessment are inextricably linked and represent crucial dimensions of the education system.
The discussions around critical education transformation issues which affect the region’s education system, is expected to play a critical role in the development of CXC and the region.
