The Caribbean Examinations’ Council has officially released Exam results, highlighted in a grand ceremony in Guyana today, which focused on several topics in the advancement of the region’s education.

Over the past two years COVID-19 in the region has had a debilitating effect on the system, where in some measure adjustments were made.

The general view is that regional students performed well despite the challenges.

CXC Registrar, Dr. Wayne Wesley, is of the view that COVID-19 has taught educators in the region many lessons and there’s need for transformation.

He says a transformational strategy is being pursued.

Dr. Wesley speaks of the vision encompassing modern techniques.

Dr. Wesley says the region must not be caught unaware and as much as possible students will be brought into the mix.

The release of results will be a three-tiered approach; firstly to the Ministries of Education; a joint meeting with the Ministry of Education; and lastly, release to candidates on/or before tomorrow.
