The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises that due to maintenance activities, the Mt. Plaisir Dam will be flushed on Tuesday February 22nd, 2022.
As a result, heavy river flow may be observed, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
NAWASA advises that while there should be NO CAUSE FOR ALARM, river users should exercise caution during the period.
The Authority apologizes for any inconveniences likely to be caused as a result of this maintenance activity and thanks you for your patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
