DANIEL GEORGE REMANDED TO HIS MAJESTY’S PRISONS

21-year-old Daniel George a Farmer of Simon, St. Andrew, has been remanded to his Majesty’s prisons.
He appeared in court today, formally charged and cautioned for the offense of Capital murder by causing the death of Jonathan Richards of Gouayve, St. John.
March 21, this year in the Gun Battle area, Richards sustained several injuries (believed to be gunshot wounds), and was rushed to the General Hospital.
He was pronounced dead on arrival.
George is being jointly charged with Vincentian national Elton Andrews who’s currently remanded at His Majesty’s Prisons.
George made his first court appearance at the Gouyave Magistrate Court this morning before Magistrate Nevlyn John.
George and Andrews are expected to return to Court July 12.
