Despite Rising Covid Cases Education Minister Says Face To Face Classes Resumes On Monday

Despite the rapid rise in COVID-19 cases education officials here say they’re ready for the reopening of face-to- face classes Monday.

Education Minister, Emmalin Pierre, confirms the decision is being made based on guidelines from the ministry of health.

However, looking at the COVID atmosphere here the education minister says the decision can be reversed at anytime, given the climate.

Minister Pierre explained the protocols in place for each institution, which includes sanitization, social distancing and the chain of communication, in the event of a possible spread.
