Persons on the North-Eastern corridor of the island will once again be able to access x-ray services at the Princess Alice hospital in Mirabeau, St. Andrew.

Permanent Secretary with responsibility for hospital and community health services, Hannah Julien-St. Paul, says the government, through the ministry of health, has addressed the subject of diagnostic services at the Princess Alice hospital.

Julien-St. Paul says while a technician has been hired and is now on the island they are working on getting a maintenance technical team into Grenada to service the machines.

Julien-St Paul says due to COVID-19 and border closures they’re some delays, as it relates to servicing the equipment, but indicated that the company has already received payments.
