DIALYSIS PATIENTS SOON TO BENEFIT FROM NEPHROLOGY SERVICES AT GENERAL HOSPITAL

With preparations underway for the provision of dialysis treatment to be offered to patients at the Nephrology Unit at the General Hospital, Director of Medical Services Dr. Tyiesha Donald emphasizes the need for citizens to take preventative measures as it relates to healthy habits.

According to Dr. Donald who was a member of the panel in this week’s Post Cabinet Briefing “Prevention is better than cure”.

Highlighting further details on the completion of the unit, Dr. Donald says providing Nephrology care to patients is fundamental.  

Expressing gratitude to the stakeholders involved in the preparatory process, the medical services Director notes that the quality of service offered is also of paramount importance.
