The Ministry Of Health, Wellness, and Religious Affairs says its regular telephone lines and internet at the Princess Alice Hospital at Mirabeau, St. Andrew, are temporarily out of service.

The disruption occurred yesterday, 10th April, 2023, after a portion of the Old Church in Grenville, St. Andrew, had fallen and disrupted fiber-optic cables that are linked to the hospital services.

The Ministry and staff at the hospital say they are committed to providing quality service to clients, and as such is working with service providers to restore telephone and internet services as soon as possible.

Also, the general public is notified that fixed line telephone service at the Grenville Police Station has been interrupted today due to line damage, resulting from the collapse of the Old Catholic Church Building at Sendall Street, Grenville, St. Andrew.

Members of the public wishing to contact Grenville Police Station may do so via mobile number 405 – 3153.
