The medical fraternity here is again mourning the loss of one of its own.
Reports are that Dr. Barrymore Mc. Barnette former president of the Grenada Cancer Society passed away last night.
Over the past few months, Dr. Mc. Barnette was said to be suffering from a severe bout of cancer.
He was attached to the oncology department at the general hospital.
He’s reported to be the third local doctor to have died within a three month period.
The others were Dr. Winston Thomas who died July this year and Dr. Kerlene Calliste who passed away in the United States Tuesday 27th August.
