Prime Minister, Dr. The Rt. Hon. Keith Mitchell, is to deliver an Address to the Nation tomorrow night.
Dr. Mitchell is expected to look at Grenada and the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the critical areas of concern, as the impact of the virus has taken toll on economies globally.

The issue of the vaccine uptake and vaccine hesitancy are also areas of concern, surrounding the pandemic, as well as the increasing tendency towards mass gatherings and non-compliance with ย recommended protocols, both of which, itโs noted, can create ideal conditions for any potential spread of the virus.
Prime Minister Mitchell is expected, among other things, to speak on the possibility of implementing a stimulus package for beneficiaries in different sectors, understanding, in view of the fight against the pandemic, the need for a delicate balance between safeguarding the lives of people and protecting their livelihoods.
Dr. Mitchell is also expected to make specific reference to the six-month long de-bushing programme, which has already begun, on the basis of provide jobs for thousands of people.
