Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered inside a dinghy about twelve midnight on Monday 22nd April, 2019.
The man’s body was recovered from the small craft after it was hit by another vessel at Woburn Bay.
In another sea-related incident, a 30 year old, St. David resident lost his life while swimming at Marlmount beach, St. David on Easter Monday (22nd April, 2019).
Post mortems are pending to determine the actual cause of both deaths.
Investigations are also ongoing into a chopping incident that left a 30 year old male person hospitalized with multiple wounds to the body. The incident occurred on Saturday 20th April, 2019 at Sugar Hill, Paradise, St. Andrew.
At least thirteen persons were charged for various offenses at the weekend.
Several vehicular accidents were recorded including that of a motorcycle, which occurred at Tanteen roundabout. A number of fixed penalty tickets for various traffic offenses were also issued.
