EC DOLLAR REMAINS VERY STRONG SAYS EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK GOVERNOR

Looking at the 2022 TO 2023 financial year, Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, Timothy Antoine, noted that the EC dollar stood out in strength and resilience.

With the financial year ending 31st March, 2023, the ECCB Governor indicated that the Bank maintained foreign reserves of over 90%, well above the 60% statutory requirement.

Mr. Antoine speaks of the strong recovery of ECCU Member economies, in view of the COVID pandemic.
