EDUCATION MINISTER ADVOCATES FOR STUDENTS TO SEE THE BENEFIT IN SPEAKING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Grenadian students are being encouraged to be involved in speaking a foreign language.

Speaking during debate in the Senate on the Government’s 1.35 billion-dollar Budget, Education Minister, Senator David Andrew, was focusing on the benefits to be derived being able to speak a foreign language.

The Education Minister also noted efforts at re-introducing a greater focus of local history in primary and  secondary schools.
