Education System Mourning Death Of SDCSS Principal

Staff and students of the St. David’s Catholic Secondary school are in a state of grief, over the passing of the Principal of the Institution.

Maryam Calliste of Munich, in her late 50’s, died suddenly last Sunday morning.

The students found it a “bitter pill to swallow”, but they were comforted by several of the visiting counselors.

Officials of the Catholic Church, the Ministry of Education and the Grenada Union of Teachers were on hand to provide support to the school population.
