Eleven lawmen who attended the 2024 RSS Unity exercise which was held in St. Lucia are back home on Grenadian soil.
They were among some 200 regional military and police officers in attendance.
The exercise was borne on the fact that relevant institutions and agencies need to be prepared to react against neutralized risks arising unexpectedly in communities.
The RSS Deputy Executive Director, Graham Archer, noted that participants from the various countries engaged in simulated scenarios encompassing land-based Manouevres and sea operations conducting land operations alone can become complex when faced with a real terrorist threat or suchlike situations.
Regional security leaders applauded the move towards a united front in combating modern security threats in the Caribbean, as it was endorsed by St. Lucia’s Police Commissioner, Crusita Decartes Pelius.
