Leader Of The Grenada Empowerment Movement (GEM) Earl Maitland deems the Government’s latest move to eliminate the quarantine policy for fully vaccinated travelers to Grenada as dangerous and reckless.
Tourism Minister, Dr. Clarice Modeste, made the pronouncement yesterday that the Government is discarding the quarantine policy for fully vaccinated travelers and that within a week the COVID regulations will reflect that.
Looking back at what was considered to be Grenada’s first wave of the Coronavirus, with a spike in infections and deaths, Maitland believes the decision should be reviewed.
Maitland is urging Government to rethink its position.
