Several farmers and agriculture Industry practitioners have been applauded for their work in food production.
They were recognized at a function, an Awards and Banquet of the Joint Conference of the Caribbean Agricultural Extension Providers’ Network and the Caribbean Food-Crop Society.
And, among other things, the Caribbean Food Crop Society firstly gave recognition to Minister of State with responsibility for Agriculture and Lands, Fisheries and Cooperatives, in view of his gratefulness, patient in instilling hope and being defiant.
Providing a motivational insight, Karlene Perryman Rouse, conjured up a rather poetic delivery about the importance of growing food.
She emphasized that while in today’s World seeing change as an important factor, cultural traditions are also necessary.
