Last Friday 7TH June 2024, following reports of shots being fired, police conducted an operation at “The Ghetto”, Carenage, St. George.
Police say while carrying out searches, officers found one Glock pistol along with seven rounds of ammunition.
Police says investigations into this matter are ongoing.
In another operation conducted, on Friday, officers executed a search warrant at an apartment building at Springs, St. George, where one 9mm Taurus pistol along with thirty-four rounds of ammunition, and one ounce of dried plant material resembling cannabis were found.
The two occupants of the apartment were detained in police custody to assist with the investigation.
Police investigations are ongoing.
