Police are reporting the discovery of firearms and ammunition.
Officers attached to the Drug Squad Unit are reported to have discovered a .22 rifle in a dwelling house located at Grand Bras, St. Andrew.
The weapon was seized as a result of an operation conducted by the lawmen and investigations are ongoing.
In an unrelated matter, 27-year-old Delon Edwards of Richmond, St. Andrew, was recently arrested and charged for Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.
A 9-millimeter pistol, along with 4 rounds of ammunition were found in his possession.
Edwards, who was charged by officers attached to CID at the Grenville Police Station, was granted bail in the amount of seven thousand dollars, with one surety and is scheduled to appear in court January 21, 2022.
