Again, five new positive cases of the coronavirus have been identified, since the last COVID-19 update from the Ministry of Health.
It brings to 44, the number of active cases in Grenada currently.
The 44 individuals are in isolation.
Off the 44 cases, 37 are active local, 7 are active imported and 1 active import related.
The total confirmed cases in Grenada since the first was first identified here, jumps to 230, including 115 imported cases.
There have been 185 total recoveries.
There’s been 1 death.
Looking at the statistics, some 662 persons are in quarantine facilities.
As it relates to RT-PCR tests, the Ministry of Health records 55, 297 have been conducted to date.
Surrounding the Ministry of Health’s vaccination programme against the virus, 22,714 individuals are on record receiving the first dose…18,042 have received the 2nd dose.
