The vector control division will tomorrow conduct fogging operations in the parishes of St. David and St. John.
According to the Vector Control Division of the Ministry of Health the fogging operation is in an effort to reduce the incidence of dengue fever and other mosquito-borne infection.
Tomorrow, fogging teams will be in St. David at Westerhall Secondary, St. David Catholic Secondary, St. Joseph Primary, Corinth Government School and Pomme Rose R.C.
The team will also be in St. John at Concord Government, Grand Roy Government, Newlo, Florida Government and St. John Christian Secondary.
Fogging operations will be conducted 5 in the afternoon.
The Ministry of Health says the fogging operation is in response to numerous complaints of mosquito infestation.
It’s advising residents in the scheduled areas to be vigilant in ensuring their surroundings are free of mosquito-breeding sites.
