According to the Vector Control Division of the Ministry of Health the fogging operation is in an effort to reduce the incidence of dengue fever and other mosquito-borne infection.
Today, fogging teams was in Boca, St. George.
Tomorrow, the team moves to Windsor Forest, and Friday Westerhall in St. David.
Fogging operations will be conducted 5 each afternoon.
The Ministry of Health says the fogging operation is in response to numerous complaints of mosquito infestation.
It’s advising residents in the scheduled areas to be vigilant in ensuring their surroundings are free of mosquito-breeding sites.
