Residence in the town of St. David including Upper and Lower La Tante, Marlmount, Pomme Rose and Belle Isle should make necessary preparations from now through to Thursday for the National fogging team.

The vector control division of the ministry of Health will continue with its fogging campaign in an effort to reduce the incidence of Dengue Fever that’s currently on the rise.

 The Ministry of Health is urging individuals to cooperate with the fogging team by opening their homes to allow fog to enter as they seek to eradicate mosquitoes.

Fogging will be conducted at Upper La Tante today, tomorrow Tuesday September 8 Lower La Tante, Wednesday 9th September Marlmount and Pomme Rose and Thursday September 10 at Belle Isle.

All fogging will commence 4 in the afternoon.

phase of fogging will target areas of suspected and confirmed dengue cases, individuals with respiratory difficulties are asked to stay away from the fog or inform the team of such conditions.

Bee keepers are also asked to inform the team of any bee keeping activities in the areas to be fogged by contacting 440-2095.
