Former Infrastructure Minister, Norlan Cox, takes issue with what he perceives are delays surrounding the Moliniere Landslip Project.
Having been a chief mastermind in the NNP administration concerning processes associated with the project, Cox believes delays now are unacceptable, especially when the project was on the brink of getting off the ground, having been short-circuited by the general election.
Cox, speaking at a News Conference this morning, called by the Opposition NNP, believes any unnecessary delay places additional burdens and consequences on commuters, having to pass on the Mt. Moritz road on a daily basis.
Cox, who lost his bid last election to be the MP of St. George South, noted that delays on the project may have cost implications for the Government, and the people of Grenada as a whole.

Delay in the Moliniere Landslip Project was one of several issues dealt with at the News Conference.
Cox was accompanied by Former Tourism Minister, Dr. Clarice Modeste, who noted that the pronouncement by Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell pertaining to MP’s new traveling allowance is one of many not reflecting reality.
Dr. Modeste also did not find it clear in the Prime Minister’s pronouncement about eliminating special-arrangement gas supplies for MP’s.
