We have word that former Carriacou and Petite Minister, who also previously held the Legal Affairs portfolio, Kindra Maturine Stewart, is no longer an official member of the New National Party. 

She has officially submitted her resignation to this effect.

Maturine-Stewart who has been off the political scene since the last general election, is said to be pursuing future endeavors.

After the June 23, 2022 poll, which she lost to Tevin Andrew of the NDC, Kindra Mathurine-Stewart had sent notice that she was taking her exit from frontline politics but still maintained connection as a party member.

She has now submitted her resignation to this effect.

NNP says thanks for her service.

Mrs. Pierre says the party is grateful to Kindra Mathurine-Stewart for the sacrifices she has made.
