Reports show it was a charged atmosphere with enthusiasm and determination that enveloped the Grenada Radisson Resort last Friday.
It’s been a collaborative effort between UN Women and the Grenada Girl Guides Association which seeks to provide children and young individuals with the necessary tools to identify and prevent violence in their communities.
Tamara Savoury is the Chief Commissioner of the Girl Guides Association here.
Gloria Bonaparte, former Training Commissioner of the Girl Guides Association, emphasizes the importance of the curriculum’s implementation.
Several participating leaders pledged to ensure that the impact of the programme would extend far beyond the training room, creating a ripple effect that would touch the lives of countless young girls.
