In celebration of its 75th Diamond Jubilee anniversary, the Grenada Co-operative Nutmeg Association (GCNA) is seeking to forge ahead toward what it says is much-needed transformation.

That was the focus of the GCNA’s 133rd annual general meeting, as it reflected on the past and having its sights set on the road ahead.

Highlighting some achievements, GCNA Chairman, Leo Cato, did also point to key factors he believes need to change.

Delivering remarks on behalf of Agriculture Minister Peter David, was Trevor Thompson.

He made note of areas that need addressing to eliminate challenges affecting the sector.

Head of the GCNA Technical Committee, Lenard St. Bernard, explains work currently undertaken to address farmers concerns receiving viable nutmeg plants.
