President of the Grenada Football Association (GFA) Marlon Glean  officially met with Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell for the first time on Monday, July 11. The  meeting also included Minister of State with responsibility for Youth & Sports Ron Redhead and  Concacaf Director for Development and former Grenada national player, Jason Roberts.

During the meeting which lasted for just over an hour, the following areas were discussed:  Grassroots and school football, development of coaches, national teams, opportunities for  players, Sports Tourism and infrastructure development.

President Glean was very positive coming out of the meeting saying, “I look forward to the  Government of Grenada and the Grenada Football Association deepening its partnership to develop football in the tri island state while maximizing opportunities for players.”
