We continue today with Nutritionist at the Grenada Food and Nutrition Council, Lydia Browne, giving us some insight as to how we should portion our foods to get the best results.

One of the main factors in getting nutrition is not always what we eat but how we eat it.

The term “portion” means how much food you are served or how much you eat…a portion size can vary from meal to meal.

Browne says eating 7 to 8 ounces of meat on our plates is not necessary for the average adult.

She speaks of other areas individuals can get protein from.
