Twenty schools across the nation, will, in the coming days, vie for supremacy as the Grenada Food and Nutrition Council (GFNC) stages its annual National Schools’ Nutrition Quiz for primary and secondary school students.
Fourteen Primary schools will seek to defeat champions, Woburn Methodist in competition this Thursday April 20 at the Grenada Youth Center, Morne Rouge, St. George.
That will take place for 2 hours between 9 and 11 in the morning, following which there’ll be an awards ceremony.
At the Secondary level; six institutions will compete in a zonal competition Friday 21st April, between 9 to 11 in the morning, in the preliminary round before the final, April 28.
Defending champions, St. George’s Institute, gets an automatic seat in the Final, which will be held at the Grenada Olympic Committee building, Morne Rouge, St. George.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 schools in each competition.
