The Grenada Government says as it relates to any increase in numbers pertaining to attendance at funerals and weddings, that will be on a case-by-case basis.

It makes the point, reminding individuals that the number of persons permitted to attend weddings and funerals, remains at 20, as stipulated in the COVID-19 regulations.

A release from with government circles noted that while the Grenada Cabinet has given consideration to requests and increase in permitted numbers, consideration will be given on a case-by-case basis, and that will depend on the capacity of the venue to facilitate the required physical distancing.

It maintains that individuals seeking additional guests for weddings and funerals must apply for the requisite permission.

Applicants are reminded that inspection of the facilities is also required prior to the granting of permission.

Given the fluidity of the pandemic, and the need to constantly adjust and adapt, the release went on to state that the Grenada Cabinet will continue to consider changes to the regulations, where they become necessary.
