Around 90 of the Nation’s students are to be presented with the first set of scholarship awards for 2020, made available by the Government of Grenada, through the Ministry of Education.
A ceremony will be held in this regard Thursday.
Awards will be presented to the students for study at St. George’s University (SGU), in areas of pre-med, medicine, veterinary medicine, and arts and sciences, including nursing.
We also understand that the Grenada Houston Association will present academic support awards to eight students, as part of its annual awards to Grenadian students.
The Grenada Houston Association scholarship is aimed at assisting Secondary School and Tertiary Education students with academic expenses.
There’s a high concentration of support especially in the fields related to Science, Agriculture, or other Inter-disciplinary areas.
The Scholarship awards ceremony will take place at the Grenada Olympic House, Morne Rouge, St. George, Thursday.
