In commemoration of Grenada’s 50th Anniversary of independence, the Grenada Government is planning to honor and recognize the island’s first set of national heroes.
The pronouncement was made by Prime Minister Hon. Dickon Mitchell during a recent Press briefing.
Prime Minister Mitchell says such an initiative is important to iconize and document the history and people of Grenada while defining the island in this modern time.
Prime Minister Mitchell indicated that the initiative will follow public consultations and support.
