Governor General, Her Excellency Dame Cecile La Grenade, tells citizens to emulate Christ-like attributes during the yuletide season in reaching out to the less fortunate.
She speaks of displaying virtues of humility, compassion, forgiveness, and caring for others, particularly the most vulnerable and needy.
Dame Cecile says over the past few weeks she has had the opportunity of visiting many institutions that have become the permanent home of many of the Nation’s elder citizens, orphans and people with mental or physical challenges.
Dame Cecile called for greater care and attention for the Nation’s children.
