The Eastern Caribbean Green Entrepreneurship Initiative (EC Greenpreneurs) announces the launch and the call for applications for the third cohort of its Incubator programme, aimed at supporting green entrepreneurs in Grenada and the rest of the sub-region.
It follows success of the first two cohorts of the programme in 2021 and 2022, and is again seeking to help early-stage businesses with environmentally and socially sustainable business models to grow and scale their enterprises.
With this programme, the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), in partnership with the Organisation of the Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission, provides 12 weeks of virtual training, mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to green entrepreneurs.
Along with Grenada, other participants will come from Antigua/Barbuda, Dominica, Saint Lucia, St. Kitts/Nevis and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The selected individuals and/or teams also have a chance to secure 10,000 US dollars in seed funding through a Business Plan Competition to further develop their potential and showcase innovative solutions to tackle climate change, while enhancing sustainability in the region.
The programme is funded by the Qatar Fund for Development.
