Looking at the latest update on Grenada’s COVID-19 Dashboard as of yesterday April 25, the number of individuals taking the first jab of the AstraZeneca vaccine has gotten off the eleven thousand mark.
Some 12,154 individuals are now vaccinated, through the Ministry of Health vaccination programme across the island.
The number of individuals receiving the second dose of the vaccine is recorded as 1,433, an increase of 781 since the last COVID update.
Currently, Grenada has two active COVID-19 cases.
To date, some 26, 805 Rapid/PCR tests have been conducted on island.
According to the COVID dashboard, Grenada recorded 160 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 since it recorded its first case March 22 last year.
Of the total number of confirmed cases, eighty-two are said to be imported.
There have been one hundred and fifty-seven total recoveries to date.
There’s been one death.
There are currently three hundred and eighty-five individuals in quarantine facilities.
