Meantime, Grenada’s COVID-19 surveillance continues to show that since the end of April, there hasn’t been an active COVID case on the island.
On this score, Health Authorities have been applauded for a job well done so far.
As things stand now the record shows that as of yesterday June15, Grenada’s total confirmed COVID-19 cases still stand at 161, eighty-three of which are said to have been imported.
There’s been 1 death and 160 total recoveries.
The COVI-19 Update shows that some 18,888 individuals have so far received the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine, while some 9,962 persons have received the second dose.
In the latest statistics, some 636 individuals are in quarantine facilities.
As it relates to RT-PCR Tests, the Ministry of Health says
34,875 have been conducted, to date.
