Grenada defeated Dominica yesterday by 39 runs, in the Under0-15 WINLOTT Cricket tournament, on account of the Duckworth Lewis method.
It’s Grenada’s second victory in as many games.
Batsman, Rion Mitchell, and bowler, Kirt Murray, were the stars of the game.
In Grenada’s 254-8, Mitchell knocked up 122, Justin John 25 and Rickell Sylvester 22.
Dominica in reply, given a revised target of 230 in 43 overs, made 191-9.
Stephan Pascal had 79 and Jelani Joseph 29.
Kirt Murray, bowling for Grenada, took 4 for 25 and Kani Lewis 2 for 27.
It’s a rest day today for team Grenada.
The youngsters will be in action tomorrow when they take on St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
