At the 20th annual World Spirits Competition, Grenada Distillers, producers of Grenadaโs Number 1 Rum Clarkeโs Court, won a collective 7 medals for outstanding quality rums.
They also won the coveted title Distillery of the Year Gold 2020.
Competing against entries from all around the world, Clarkeโs Court continuous sturdy performance at the World Spirits Awards Competition resulted in 5 Gold and 2 Silver Medals across various alcohol categories.
Namely Clarkeโs Court Pure White, Special Dark, Superior Light, Exotic Spicy and Old Grog in the gold awards.
And in the Silver category, Clarkeโs Court Passion Fruit and Clarkeโs Court Black Gold.
Clarkโs court says Winning Gold at the World Spirits awards is not new to the Grenada Distillers family.
107 participants and distilleries from 25 nations (islands) took part in the โWorld Spirits Award 2020โ, submitting 490 spirits for consideration.
The results are based on the WOB 100โpoint evaluation system, which is specially tailored to the world of spirits.
