In case you’ve been tied up other than connecting to the CONCACAF Qatar World Cup 2022 preliminary draw,  Grenada is into Group “A” in the first round.

Today, Concacaf’s road to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 reached an important milestone as the draw for the qualifying competition took place at the Home of FIFA, Switzerland.

Grenada is one of five teams in its group…group “A”

The others are El Salvador, Antigua/Barbuda, Montserrat and the US Virgin Islands.

Group B: Canada, Suriname, Bermuda, Cayman Islands and Aruba.

Group C: Curacao, Guatemala, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Cuba and British Virgin Islands.

Group D: Panama, Dominican Republic, Barbados, Dominica and Anguilla.

Group E: Haiti, Nicaragua, Belize, St. Lucia and Turks and Caicos Islands.

Group F: Trinidad and Tobago, St. Kitts/Nevis, Guyana, Puerto Rico and Bahamas.

Grenada’s first game will be against El Salvador October 8 in El Salvador, followed by US Virgin Islands October 13 here at home,  Antigua/Barbuda November 13 in Antigua and against Montserrat November 17 here at home, the Kirani James International Athletic and Football stadium.
