The Grenada Government is said to be getting and putting things in place for the 2023 Independence celebrations.
Tuesday the National Celebrations Committee unveiled the logo and theme for the celebrations.
The logo and theme were unveiled by Culture Minister, Ron Redhead, and Chairperson of the National Celebrations Committee, Jacqueline Alexis.
The theme is designed to put Grenada on a path for the golden jubilee celebrations, “The Journey to 50, reflecting on the Past, Planning for the Future”.
With Grenada having a welcome ease in the COVID pandemic, Independence activities will return to the original format for the enjoyment of Grenadians at home and abroad.

The man on the Committee responsible for organizing the Calypso Competition is Adrian Mark, who says new and exciting things are in store.
The prize monies are being increased.
The winner will receive 10 thousand dollars.
