Her Excellency Rachér Croney, High Commissioner for Grenada to the United Kingdom, was  accorded the honour of being celebrated as a Distinguished Guest at the esteemed  International Leaders’ Summit & Awards 2025, held within the House of Lords at the UK  Parliament. This distinguished diplomatic forum, hosted under the gracious patronage of  Baroness Sandip Verma, convened eminent personalities from across the globe to commend  exemplary leadership and foster high-level international engagement.

In a moment of profound recognition, High Commissioner Croney was formally presented  with an accolade during the International Book of Achievers Award Ceremony. This  distinguished honour was conferred by Ms. Gaganeet Kaur and Mr. Nitish Arora, Directors of  MSG Advert Ltd, in tribute to Her Excellency’s outstanding diplomatic service and her  resolute efforts in fortifying Grenada’s international alliances and global stature.

The summit, a confluence of visionary leadership and strategic diplomacy, witnessed the  presence of several high-ranking dignitaries, including Her Royal Majesty Queen Vickylextar  of the Royal Omanye Kingdom, West Africa; Dr Bu Abdullah of the United Arab Emirates;  and Hon. Alain St. Ange, former Minister of Tourism and now presidential candidate of the  Republic of Seychelles.

The event also recognised the distinguished service of Her Excellency Nimisha Madhvani,  High Commissioner of Uganda to the UK, thereby reinforcing a spirit of multilateral  cooperation and unity among nations. Executive Administrator at the High Commission for  Grenada, Ashraf Nehal was also the recipient of a Diplomatic Dreamer Award for youth  diplomatic engagements and his contributions to policy development.

High Commissioner Croney’s recognition at this esteemed gathering underscores the  ascendancy of Grenada’s diplomatic outreach and its pivotal role in global conversations. The  summit afforded unparalleled opportunities for engagement with key British parliamentary  figures, including MP Bob Blackman, MP Barry Gardiner, Lord Sahota and Lord Raj  Dholakia, facilitating meaningful discourse on shared interests and future collaboration.

Baroness Sandip Verma, member of the UK House of Lords since 2006 and Chancellor of the  University of Roehampton, presided over the proceedings.
