Senior officials from Ministries of Fisheries among others from 12 Caribbean countries are to participate in a three-day regional workshop in Grenada, beginning Wednesday.
Discussions will be held on identifying specific opportunities for technical support and possibilities for financial support from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) in the areas of readiness and project development.
The workshop is funded by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations.
The event will be held at the Radisson Convention Centre.
The workshop will conclude Friday.
A short opening ceremony will be held Wednesday nine in the morning at the Trinidad Room of the convention centre.
