A release from the meteorological service at the Maurice Bishop International Airport has sent out a dispatch to the public about a tropical wave in the eastern Atlantic. 

It’s been relocated and is extending South of 11 degrees North to inland Suriname with axis near 56.5 West. 

Scattered moderate isolated strong convection is from 7 to 11degrees North, between 53 and 59 degrees West. 

The Met Office says the wave will bring some showers and the possible isolated thunder to Grenada tonight into tomorrow.

It says tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 7 days and Met service says it will continue to monitor the systems and provide updates to the public in a timely manner. 

The next update will be issued 8 in the morning.
