The Grenada National Commission for UNESCO  announces an exciting partnership with Mprojekts Creative Group, hosting its first film industry-focused business seminar, during the upcoming virtual International 1261 Film Festival from November 2 to 7,  2021.

The two-day seminar, to be held under the theme, “The Impact of Film/Television Production on Local  Market | A Creative Feature for Grenada,” will take place on November 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The aim of the event is to strengthen collaboration and cooperation by empowering young people as agents for sustainable development, through capacity building in the cultural and creative industries,  seeking to boost entrepreneurship and innovation, fostering integration in the creative sector and creating exchanges and networks to enhance knowledge sharing.

We invite young artists (filmmakers), cultural professionals, policymakers and other stakeholders related to the culture and creative sector to attend.

This two-day event will feature local and international creative and film experts, who will explore and discuss ways to move the creative sector forward in Grenada and find sustainable opportunities such as capacity building, funding, and policy changes.
